Last week I talked about the importance of having a vision to define the new future you want – especially in uncertain times. If you missed that newsletter, you can read it here.
This week I want you to think about Coaching as a style of leading and developing your staff and team. It’s one thing to have a Coach for your own development, and another to BE a Coach for someone else. What is your coaching style? Do you even have one? Giving your staff the playbook and sharing your advice during 1:1 meetings on how to get to an end-goal is not necessarily Coaching. One thing you can easily do without hiring yourself a Coach, is to learn the skill of Coaching. Use your staff meetings to practiçe your technique, and think about leading with open questions. Here are some additional resources to help you learn to be a better Coach as well as help you Coach yourself.
